  • Coordinate Consultant team during all design phases (from concept)
  • Develop/create plans and records (ex.: communication, schedule, configuration, requirements, change management)
  • Establish project baselines
  • Ensure other aspects are in place (budget, procurement)
  • Assist in the tendering procedures
  • Organise and facilitate Value Engineering session for any project aspects that might need re-evaluation (scope, cost, time, quality)

  • Ensure required documentation and processes are in place
  • Undertake Site inspections
  • Manage communications and meetings
  • Ensure quality processes are in place
  • Implement risk responses
  • Manage procurement timing and appropriateness
  • Manage stakeholder engagement
  • Monitor the design development process
  • Manage lessons learned
  • Implement approved changes

Monitoring & Controlling​

  • Change management process
  • Monitor/Control (in collaboration with the Consultants team as applicable) scope, schedule, costs, quality, procurements, risks, communications, stakeholder engagement.
  • Prepare reports such us:
    – End stage report (at each milestone)
    – Highlight/status report (monthly high-level report for project progress, issues and performance)
    – Exception report (for changes)

Closing

  • Ensure proper closure of all contracts (including all their obligations)
  • Participate in the project’s financial closure (final account)
  • Update and finalize project documentation
  • Ensure other functions complete their part (H&S, insurances, etc)
  • Liaise with the Client, the Consultants Team and the Contractor and prepare and maintain a handover plan, identifying the roles and responsibilities of each
  • Prepare End Project Report
